Columns and arrays
Multiple 8-inch drivers in a column want high sensitivity, a narrow frame and consistent unit-to-unit parameters; frame dimensions are on every product page.
Compact two-way cabinets
A single 8-inch woofer in a small top or monitor wants more Xmax and a lower Fs; check the enclosure recommendation on the product page.
Crossover to the HF
Eight-inch mid-woofers cross comfortably between 1.8 and 3 kHz to a 1-inch compression driver or a dome tweeter.
Impedance for distributed systems

Custom 8-inch woofers & mid-woofers for OEM and ODM programmes
Every driver on this page can be adapted for an OEM programme at REDCATT's own factory in Dongguan: impedance, voice coil, cone or diaphragm, surround, motor and frame changes, or a new design built to a target specification. Standard catalog drivers have a minimum order quantity of 1 piece; custom and OEM MOQs are flexible, starting at 100 pieces, with quantity-tiered pricing; production lead time is 45 calendar days.
Tooling and NRE apply to custom developments that need dedicated tools. The range is wide: simple tools can cost as little as a few tens of dollars, while complex injection tools can exceed $50,000. NRE charges are refunded against placed production orders.
