How to choose 15-inch woofers
Two-way top or subwoofer
For a 15-inch two-way top, look for the highest sensitivity with a smooth response to 2 kHz; for a sub, look for Xmax and Bl. The spec table above lists both.
Crossover to the compression driver
A 15-inch woofer in a two-way cabinet usually crosses between 1 and 1.6 kHz to a 1.4-inch or 1.8-inch exit compression driver; check the woofer's response above 1 kHz.
Enclosure
Qts and Vas determine the vented volume; typical 15-inch two-way cabinets fall between 60 and 120 litres. A simulated recommendation is on each product page.
Neodymium or ferrite
Neodymium 15-inch drivers are common in portable powered speakers and flown systems; ferrite in installed and high-volume OEM cabinets.

Custom 15-inch woofers for OEM and ODM programmes
Every driver on this page can be adapted for an OEM programme at REDCATT's own factory in Dongguan: impedance, voice coil, cone or diaphragm, surround, motor and frame changes, or a new design built to a target specification. Standard catalog drivers have a minimum order quantity of 1 piece; custom and OEM MOQs are flexible, starting at 100 pieces, with quantity-tiered pricing; production lead time is 45 calendar days.
Tooling and NRE apply to custom developments that need dedicated tools. The range is wide: simple tools can cost as little as a few tens of dollars, while complex injection tools can exceed $50,000. NRE charges are refunded against placed production orders.
