Filter the full catalogWoofers are designed for bandwidth as well as output: a demountable-cone paper or composite cone, a high-temperature voice coil on a glass-fibre or aluminium former, and a suspension tuned for controlled excursion, so a single driver can cover 50 Hz to well above the crossover of a two-way system.

How to choose professional woofers
Sensitivity first for a two-way top
In a two-way PA cabinet the woofer sets the system sensitivity. Compare the 1 W / 1 m figures in the spec table on this page before comparing power handling; 3 dB of sensitivity is worth doubling the amplifier.
Xmax for the low end
If the cabinet is expected to work down to 50 Hz without a subwoofer, favour the woofers with higher Xmax and lower Fs. For a top that crosses to a sub at 80 to 100 Hz, a lower-mass cone with higher sensitivity is the better trade.
Check Qts against the enclosure
Qts below roughly 0.35 indicates a driver for vented or horn-loaded boxes; 0.35 to 0.5 works in vented or sealed designs. The enclosure recommendation on each product page is a simulated starting point.
Voice coil diameter and power
Larger voice coils (75 mm and above) dissipate heat better and keep power compression lower over a long show. The AES rating on the datasheet is the two-hour figure, not a peak number.

Custom professional woofers for OEM and ODM programmes
Every driver on this page can be adapted for an OEM programme at REDCATT's own factory in Dongguan: impedance, voice coil, cone or diaphragm, surround, motor and frame changes, or a new design built to a target specification. Standard catalog drivers have a minimum order quantity of 1 piece; custom and OEM MOQs are flexible, starting at 100 pieces, with quantity-tiered pricing; production lead time is 45 calendar days.
Tooling and NRE apply to custom developments that need dedicated tools. The range is wide: simple tools can cost as little as a few tens of dollars, while complex injection tools can exceed $50,000. NRE charges are refunded against placed production orders.

Woofers questions
What sizes of professional woofer does REDCATT make?
The woofer range runs from 3.5 to 18 inches. Larger low-frequency drivers intended purely for bass are listed separately as subwoofers, and smaller drivers for the midrange section as mid-woofers.
What is the difference between a woofer and a subwoofer driver?
A woofer is designed to cover the bass and lower midrange, typically 50 Hz to 1.5 kHz or higher, with sensitivity and smooth response as priorities. A subwoofer driver is optimised for output below about 100 Hz, with more excursion, a heavier cone and a stronger motor at the expense of upper bandwidth.
Which enclosure should I use?
Each product page carries a simulated enclosure recommendation and the full Thiele/Small data. As a rule, low-Qts woofers suit vented and horn-loaded cabinets; the final volume and tuning should be confirmed in a simulator and with samples.
Can REDCATT customise a woofer for an OEM programme?
Yes. Cone, surround, voice-coil, impedance, motor and basket changes are all handled through the OEM/ODM process, with an MOQ that is flexible, starting at 100 pieces, with quantity-tiered pricing and tooling refunded against production orders.
