The 200NTi compression driver is a high performance high frequency device ideal for professional loudspeaker systems. The driver’s advanced neodymium based magnetic circuit provides a compact, yet robust, ultra high force BL field with precision control of the pure titanium diaphragm assembly. The unit delivers incredibly linear frequency response and very high power handling through 1.4inch exit throat.
The driver features a 75mm pure titanium diaphragm formed as single piece with titanium suspension consisting resonance control features. REDCATT uses advanced manufacturing and quality control techniques, resulting in superb consistency of all our compression drivers.

The 200NTIX8-043 is a 3-inch neodymium titanium compression driver rated at 100 W AES (200 W continuous) into a nominal 8-ohm load. Sensitivity is 111 dB (1 W/1 m), the highest of any compression driver in the REDCATT range. With a free-air resonance of 800 Hz, a 76 mm voice coil, and a 36 mm horn exit, this driver combines the maximum sensitivity and power handling of the 3-inch large-format class with the significant weight reduction of neodymium motor technology. The ultra-high force magnetic system with back-pressure regulation features ensures consistent excursion control and thermal stability at rated power. The titanium dome provides the rigidity required for extended high-frequency response from the 3-inch diaphragm.

The frequency response is usable from approximately 700 Hz with horn loading, with an exceptionally flat plateau of 110-112 dB maintained from approximately 1 kHz to 16 kHz. The Fs impedance peak at approximately 500 Hz and a secondary horn cavity resonance are clearly defined. The 111 dB sensitivity enables very high acoustic SPL with moderate amplifier power, a key advantage in large-format touring and line-array systems.

The driver is rated for 100 W AES and requires high-power professional amplification. A crossover frequency of 800-1,200 Hz (18-24 dB/octave high-pass) is recommended. The 36 mm exit requires compatible horn designs. Good to use with 15-inch or 18-inch professional woofers such as 15FINDX8-035, 18FINDX8-036, 181XRX4-350, or 21NPWX4-018 in lightweight high-sensitivity 2-way or 3-way touring PA systems and installation line arrays.

The 200NTIX8-043 is suited for professional PA 2-way and 3-way top cabinets, touring mid-high cabinets, installed line-array systems, and any large-format application where the highest sensitivity (111 dB), 100 W AES power handling, and the neodymium motor's weight advantage in the 3-inch class are the primary compression driver selection criteria.
